Phil Bolland has been writing music for several years now under the guises Sync 24, Cultek and Signal Type and is known for his dark and moody electro productions.
Starting out on Andrea Parker's UK electro imprint Touchin' Bass he has gone on to create his own label Cultivated Electronics, which after only 3 releases has gained notoriety as one of the scenes more purist Electro label's.
As well heading up Cultivated Electronics he also co-runs the London Electro/Techno night Scand, whose parties have included the likes of Silicon Scally, Transparent Sound and Mr Velcro Fastener to name a few.
Phil has a string of forthcoming releases lined up this year. Collaborating on the new Touchin' Bass compilation with Intredimensional Transmissions Alpha 606, a solo EP on the US Electro label Spacebar Sentiments as well as the first the solo artist EP on Cultivated Electronics. He will also appear as Signal Type on the new Street Sounds Nu School Electro volume 1 compilation.
