Formed in 2004 and hailing from the Southeast of England, The Breakniks aim to keep their sound based in the underground...but having a laugh on the way...




Inspired and Influenced by the 1st wave 'Electro' scene of the 80's and the whole early computer movement / hip hop, they try not to deviate from their course. nu skool breaks, hardcore, drum/bass, electro, trip hop, ambient and skiffle.

They have also, in the past, floated into working on Pirate Radio and had some early tracks played on Vibe FM (the breaks show) now Kiss FM.


Their main breakthrough came with the release of the legendary 'Jam on it'. the 2007 remix c.d by NEWCLEUS on Jam on Productions. The lads gave this old skool favourite the 'nik' re-worked treatment .The outcome was the 'Psychosis' remix.

........also, later this year, an 'Automan' remix will be due for release on the same label.
