I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for supporting the hugely successful re-launch of the Street Sounds label and the phenomenal success of NU ELECTRO vol.1. My love and respect x
The Nu Electro album has been universally praised by press, radio and the many of you who have spent your hard earned money buying the CD or vinyl (and in many cases both) of the album. This is only the beginning and we still have so much to do in the promotions and marketing of the album!
Many emails and calls have congratulated and attributed the re-launch of the Street Sounds brand in spearheading a resurgence in the Electro genre and I would like to say that this has only been made possible by the unique and extraordinary talents of the producers, artists and musicians and the support and encouragement from fans and Electro lovers alike who have and continue to contribute to the Electro scene. The Street Sounds Electro chart as well as the Nu Electro album have been a conduit to all that is good in the scene and I believe has shown the rest of the music industry how innovative, exciting and relevant Electro music is today!
The success of the first album has secured Street Sounds sales and distribution by Universal Music and we are in the process of finalising other territory distribution, which we will announce over the next few weeks. We understand that many of you have distribution relationships in your particular country and we would value your advice and assistance in this.
We are NOW looking for NEW material to use on Nu Electro vol.2. Please send us any new material as soon as possible!

As well as working on the second Nu Electro album we are also involved in some very exciting live events which will take Electro and more importantly Electro artists to a much wider audience. We will also be announcing some great news with regards to the Street Sounds Electro chart being incorporated by music magazines. Watch this space for more news!
It took Street Sounds almost 18 months the 1st time around in 1982 to get our music distributed nationally and acknowledged as major album releases…we are totally overwhelmed that so much has already happened in such a short time and that the Electro epidemic is spreading!!!
I look forward to hearing your tracks, ideas and any other comments and suggestions you may have.
