Techno Bass Multi-Universal Network
I play techno bass
So, When I get booked for a show people ask me what style to put on the flyer and I say Techno Bass. People are confused like you mean electro and I jus say no I really don't play that housey stuff. Being from Detroit I would have thought people would be familar with this genre butt not really. We used to say techno bass way back in the day, then it was electro, then we had to specify that it was electro bass, and now we are recycleing back to techno bass. I think it's better off that way.

yep, much of the new school sounds of electro these days are very detroit influenced and can be justified as techno bass...i mean, why else do the old school people always say that new school sounds to much like techno? hhmm, i wonder... ;)

may i add that even though the techno bass pioneers didnt think techno bass would go global, it has! and even though it may not sound like "detroit" techno bass, it is an evolution of that sound and influence.
